Who we are

What we collect
Account holders: name, email, phone (optional), profile details you choose to display, shipping address for physical orders, payment handles you link (such as a Venmo username), and usage records of your tip page. Payments for badges and subscriptions are processed by Stripe; we never store card numbers.
Guests who scan a badge
Scanning a TipTapToe QR requires no account. We record basic, short-lived technical data about page visits (for counting and abuse prevention). Tips made through Venmo or Cash App happen entirely inside those apps under their terms; we see that a payment link was tapped, never your payment details.
What we never do
We do not sell personal data. We do not take a percentage of tips. We do not display a worker’s payment destinations beyond the buttons they chose to show.
We send transactional email (receipts, shipping, security notices). Marketing email, if any, is separate and opt-out at any time.
Your choices
You can edit or deactivate your profile, remove payment methods, and request account deletion by contacting hello@tiptaptoe.io.
